Tandem Sea Kayak:
The Beluga is a
composite tandem, which ensures ease and confidence right from your
first strokes. The kayak combines stability and performance, and is
capable of reaching high cruising speeds. A moderate rocker,
coupled with a larger rudder, make the kayak easy to turn. Large
cockpits offer ample room for legs and feet. The practical centre
compartment can be used for extra storage (or for your favourite
pet) or outfitted with an optional child seat/bulkhead. The
cockpits are spaced sufficiently apart, allowing the paddlers to
paddle at their own speed, without risk of accidental collision
between the two paddles. This makes the kayak ideally suited to
paddlers with mixed abilities or families with young children.

Sale: Swift Kipawa Canoe
Swift's best
selling wilderness tripping canoe
55 pounds in
expedition Kevlar, with ash gunwales, cherry interior, and
kneeling thwart. Royal blue.
Hull naturally has
some scratches in the paint but no serious gouges or damage.
Wood trim is in excellent condition. The boat has barely
been in the water the past three years and has been stored and
protected from the weather over the winter.
Since I no longer
have my former paddling partner who was well over 200 pounds I
would like to downsize to a fifteen foot prospector style of
similar quality which would be more suitable for solo paddling.
For anyone wishing to trade for a larger boat, a trade could be
negotiated if the combination fits.
Staff at Swift
recommended I ask $1800. The replacement cost for a new
boat with taxes is close to $3000. I am asking $1600.
